Tips to Help Enjoy the Cultural Exchange

Etiquette
Front row seating is reserved for dancers. Most will bring chairs.

Blankets or shawls spread on seats means "reserved."

Please stand and remove hats during Flag and Honor songs, traditional dances, and for prayers. Do not take photos during these times.

Audience may take photos with permission of the individual. Remuneration for giving permission is acceptable.

Native Americans respect their Elders and they are given first priority for seating and other considerations.

Do not crowd the drummers and singers.

Ask permission before recording.

Keep children from playing in the dance area.

Feel free to applaud.

No Drugs
No Alcohol
No Smoking
